More Fall Traditions

For Shawn's birthday, Alana helped make his favorite pumpkin cookies. She started by adding salt to her banana muffin. Hmmm, something doesn't sound right in that recipe. I don't think bananas are in the pumpkin cookie recipe.

Shawn did not want to touch the "most useless vegetable. It is the horse of vegetables."

Happy Birthday Baby!!!!

Our lil' baby Alana turned 2 years on October 8th. Her cousins, Lexi & Madison, passed down the Princess car with a brand-new battery. Lucky Alana! She is quickly learning how to maneuver and stay on the sidewalk or yard.

Train Time

Just a short walk away there is a family that is extremely enthusiastic about model trains. They've set up a train that people can actually ride and open it to the public twice a year. This year we were finally in town and got to ride the train. Alana enjoyed herself.

Happy Independence Weekend

We celebrated the 4th of July with an annual favorite, family time at the cottage in Door County. When we returned home, we went to West Bend's beautiful fireworks.
